Graber Essentials Dual Solar Roller Shades combine the benefits of solar and roller fabrics in one versatile shade. During the day, use the solar shade to help reduce glare, protect from UV rays, and maintain an outward view. In the evening, lower the roller shade for added privacy and light control.
This dual shade design gives you the flexibility of two fabric features in one window treatment: light filtering with a view by day and enhanced privacy at night.

STYLE MEETS FUNCTION
Dual Solar Roller Shades are designed for homes that need flexible light control throughout the day. The solar shade helps filter harsh sunlight while preserving the view, while the roller shade adds privacy and stronger light control when needed.
LIGHT CONTROL & PRIVACY

• Solar Shade – Helps reduce glare, heat, and UV exposure while maintaining an outward view.
• Light Filtering Roller Shade – Gently diffuses incoming light while offering moderate privacy.
• Room Darkening Roller Shade – Filters most light for increased privacy and stronger light control.

UV PROTECTION
Solar shades help shield your home from sun damage by blocking harmful UV rays. Depending on fabric openness, solar fabrics can block up to 95% or 99% of UV light, helping protect furniture, floors, and décor from fading.
OPENNESS OPTIONS

• 1% Openness – Blocks up to 99% of UV light and provides stronger solar protection.
• 5% Openness – Blocks up to 95% of UV light while offering a more open outward view.

Dark vs. Light Fabrics
Dark fabrics with higher openness typically provide the best view-through. Lighter fabrics with lower openness typically provide stronger solar protection and a softer appearance.
LIFT SYSTEM OPTIONS
Continuous Loop Lift – Beaded chain and clutch system make raising and lowering the shade easy. The beaded chain remains the same length regardless of shade position. Hold-down device keeps the chain taut for enhanced safety. Chain location can be selected on the right or left.
Important Note: Dual shades are offered only with continuous-loop lift and are available with a 7 1/2" fascia or no valance.
DUAL SHADE DETAILS
Dual shades provide light control flexibility with two fabrics in a single shade. The front and back shades are designed to work independently while combining fabrics from the solar and roller collections.
Recommended Use:

• Use the back shade for light control.
• Outside mount is recommended for optimal light control.
• Wall mount installation requires the front shade to be reverse roll.

VALANCE & FASCIA OPTIONS

• 7 1/2" Fascia – Available with dual shade only. Available in Alabaster, Black, Bronze, Clear Anodized, and White. Not available with motorized lift.
• No Valance – Available with dual shade when selected with continuous-loop lift.

HEM BAR OPTIONS

• Heat-Sealed Hem Bar – Standard option at no charge. Provides a clean, smooth look with no exposed parts. Heat welded into the shade fabric with sealed ends.
• Fabric-Wrapped Hem Bar – Roller or solar fabric wraps around the front of the hem bar and locks into place at the top and bottom of an aluminum extrusion. The back of the hem bar exposes color-coordinated metal with color-coordinated end caps.

CUSTOMIZATION & FEATURES

• Choose Solar and Roller Fabrics – Pair fabrics for daytime light filtering and nighttime privacy.
• Continuous-Loop Operation – Smooth chain operation keeps both shades easy to adjust.
• Right or Left Chain Location – Select the control side that works best for your room layout.
• Modern Fascia Option – Add a 7 1/2" fascia for a clean, finished top treatment.
• Solar Protection – Helps reduce glare, heat, and UV exposure while keeping your view.

IMPORTANT ORDERING INFORMATION
Dual shades are available with continuous-loop lift only. They are offered with a 7 1/2" fascia or no valance. Outside mount is recommended for optimal light control.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Covered by the Warranty

• Original defects in materials or workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the product (unless shorter periods are noted below), assuming the product was properly installed
• All internal mechanisms, components, and brackets
• For three (3) years from the date of purchase: operating cords, pleated shades without looped tape, 2" horizontal vinyl blinds slats, and vertical blinds vanes
• For five (5) years from date of purchase: motorization components and accessories (batteries not included), draperies, fabric covered cornices and valances, soft shades and accessories, exterior solar shades (provided they are fully raised during inclement weather and windy conditions)
• Repairs under this warranty will be made with like or similar parts

Not Covered by the Warranty

• Normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by abuse, accidents, alterations, misuse; failure to follow instructions for measurement, installation, use, cleaning, or maintenance
• Discoloration, fading, cracking, shrinking, or stretching caused by long exposure to direct sunlight
• Slight color variation; natural variations in color, grain, or weave of natural materials
• Slight warpage of wood blinds or shutters; excessive warpage caused by high humidity
• Shipping or labor costs incurred by taking product down, re-measuring, or re-installation
• Unfinished cornices and valances; Palladian shelves
• Fabric used for “Customer's Own Material” orders

The obligations of Springs Window Fashions are limited to the replacement or repair of parts or products found to be defective. It is at the sole discretion of Springs Window Fashions to determine whether product will be replaced or repaired.
