UV PROTECTION
Solar shades help protect your home's interior from sun exposure by blocking a significant percentage of UV rays. Depending on the selected fabric openness, solar fabrics can block up to 95% or 99% of UV light, helping reduce fading of furniture, flooring, artwork, and décor.
OPENNESS OPTIONS

• 1% Openness – Blocks up to 99% of UV light and provides stronger solar protection with less view-through.
• 5% Openness – Blocks up to 95% of UV light while allowing a more open outward view.

LIFT SYSTEM OPTIONS

• Continuous Loop Lift – A beaded chain and clutch system provides smooth raising and lowering of the shade. The beaded chain remains the same length regardless of shade position, while a hold-down device keeps the chain taut for enhanced safety. Chain location can be selected on the right or left.

Important Note: Dual shades are offered only with continuous-loop lift and are available with a 7 1/2" fascia or no valance.

VALANCE & FASCIA OPTIONS

1. 7 1/2" Fascia – Available with dual shades only. Offered in Alabaster, Black, Bronze, Clear Anodized, and White.

HEM BAR OPTIONS

• Heat-Sealed Hem Bar – Standard option at no additional charge. Provides a clean, smooth appearance with no exposed parts. The hem bar is heat welded into the shade fabric with sealed ends.
• Fabric-Wrapped Hem Bar – Roller or solar fabric wraps around the front of the hem bar and locks into place at the top and bottom of an aluminum extrusion. The back exposes color-coordinated metal with coordinating end caps.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Covered by the Warranty

• Original defects in materials or workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the product (unless shorter periods are noted below), assuming the product was properly installed
• All internal mechanisms, components, and brackets
• For three (3) years from the date of purchase: operating cords, pleated shades without looped tape, 2" horizontal vinyl blinds slats, and vertical blinds vanes
• For five (5) years from date of purchase: motorization components and accessories (batteries not included), draperies, fabric covered cornices and valances, soft shades and accessories, exterior solar shades (provided they are fully raised during inclement weather and windy conditions)
• Repairs under this warranty will be made with like or similar parts

Not Covered by the Warranty

• Normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by abuse, accidents, alterations, misuse; failure to follow instructions for measurement, installation, use, cleaning, or maintenance
• Discoloration, fading, cracking, shrinking, or stretching caused by long exposure to direct sunlight
• Slight color variation; natural variations in color, grain, or weave of natural materials
• Slight warpage of wood blinds or shutters; excessive warpage caused by high humidity
• Shipping or labor costs incurred by taking product down, re-measuring, or re-installation
• Unfinished cornices and valances; Palladian shelves
• Fabric used for “Customer's Own Material” orders

The obligations of Springs Window Fashions are limited to the replacement or repair of parts or products found to be defective. It is at the sole discretion of Springs Window Fashions to determine whether product will be replaced or repaired.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WRITTEN OR ORAL WARRANTIES OR OBLIGATIONS AND LIABILITIES. THE DURATION OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES FOR ANY PRODUCT IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE WARRANTY TERM APPLICABLE TO SUCH PRODUCT AS SET FORTH ABOVE.
